GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In addition to our website terms and conditions, and our privacy policy, Hive Active Pty Ltd has the following general terms and conditions that govern Hive Active’s relationship with customers and clients. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our services.

The terms ‘Hive Active’, ‘Hive Active CrossFit’, ‘us’ or ‘we’ refer to the owner of the website; Hive Active Pty Ltd. Our ABN is 81 614 730 184. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

MEMBERSHIP SUSPENSION/HOLD

While we love to see you every chance you get, we understand that sometimes life gets in the way!

You can request to put your payments on hold from two up to four weeks a year if you’re injured, busier than usual or spending time out of town.

Please let us know two weeks in advance of your hold period and we will arrange to suspend your payments. We’ll need a start and finish date as we will automatically restart your membership when your hold period is complete.

We can only put your membership on hold for a maximum of four weeks. Anything more is considered a cancellation, which will be carried out in accordance with your contract.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION

Hive Active reserves the right to cancel a membership agreement at its discretion. The member may cancel their membership by giving Hive Active management a minimum of 14 days notice in writing prior to when you plan to finish coming to our facility.

If you decide to reactivate your membership in the future (and we hope you do), please be aware that our rates are subject to change and reactivation of your membership will be made at current rates.

WELLNESS

Hive Active reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who presents with symptoms of illness, contraindications for exercise, or health conditions beyond our scope of practice. Should you arrive to train knowing you are unwell, Hive Active reserves the right to decline entry.

GIFT VOUCHERS

Hive Active offers you the ability to purchase Gift Vouchers. Gift Vouchers have an expiry period of 3 years, and can only be purchased for a specific dollar value. A gift voucher that is provided at no charge to guests, as part of a loyalty program, as part of a promotion or as a bonus to the purchase of products or services, donated for use in a fundraising appeal, or is for a good or service available for a limited time then it will expire at the date as noted on the voucher.

Hive Active gift vouchers can not be redeemed for cash.

CHANGE IN PERSONAL DETAILS/CIRCUMSTANCES

If personal details, including health status and medications taken, change all members need to inform Hive Active prior to their training session. If a member fails to do so, we can not be held responsible for adverse reactions to training undertaken.

EXCHANGE/RETURN POLICY

Products purchased from Hive Active with incorrect choice must be returned within 14 days unopened and with packaging in good condition in order for an exchange to be provided. Items purchased on sale can not be exchanged or returned due to incorrect choice. It is at the Manager’s discretion as to whether a product purchased that has damaged packaging, been opened and/or used, can be returned or exchanged.
