Fitness needs change as we age but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy building your strength, improving your conditioning and challenging yourself to achieve new skills and movement abilities.

At Hive Active all our group training classes can be scaled according to your abilities. In addition we offer specific FormFit classes that are designed to support members maintain good joint health, build bone density, strengthen core muscles, gain energy and have fun exercising. If you’re new to strength training these classes, along with our Sunday Thrive and mobility classes, are excellent place to start.

Designed to empower you with good health and fitness, Hive Active’s group training classes and personal training sessions are delivered by our team of skilled coaches in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

We combine scientific programming, age and stage specific movement scalability, and community atmosphere to ensure regardless whether you’re just starting out or are an athletic 55+ male or female you will be challenged at your fitness and ability level but not pushed beyond it.

For newbies, our coaches will place emphasis on form and technique to ensure you thrive at the basics. For masters athletes, our coaches will help you maintain your skill and fitness ability, and continue to challenge and support you as you work towards your next PB and fitness goal.

Our FormFit classes are 60 minutes long and run on Mondays 4:30pm-5:30pm and Thursdays 9:30am-10:30am. They incorporate a dedicated warm up and down, strength and mobility components and a constantly varied functional movement workout to keep things fun. We keep the class sizes small and focus on safe, controlled movements that protect your joints while helping you build muscle and gain energy.

We have no contracts and no joining fees and invite new adult members to get started with a free trial (not available to out-of-area visitors).
